(Nashville, TN) GRAMMY, AMA and five-time Dove Award-winning “Group of the Year,” Casting Crowns (Beach Street/Reunion Records) logs a new sales milestone with this week’s blockbuster debut of its fourth studio album, Until The Whole World Hears. The album scanned 167,432 copies its first week, making it No. 1 on the Nielsen SoundScan Current Contemporary Christian Album Chart and No. 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Casting Crowns’ Until The Whole World Hears is the third strongest album debut in the country on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart behind John Mayer and Norah Jones.

“I can’t express how thrilled and humbled I am by what Casting Crowns has achieved this week,” shares Provident Music Group President and CEO Terry Hemmings. “Seeing this band develop and grow over the last six years has been an amazing experience for all of us. Knowing that this is simply an extension of their church ministry makes these numbers mean something significant in so many ways. There is much to learn from the consumers’ response to the music and message this band is delivering.”

Casting Crows will be at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Sunday, February 21st as a part of the "Until The Whole World Hears Tour" featuring Kutless and Caleb. Tickets are on sale now at the SoulFest.com
