ChildVoice International started in February of 2006 with a goal to raise the voices of children silenced by war. Today ChildVoice has a medical clinic attending to about 2000 patients per month, the Lukodi Primary School which opened this February, Kulubel Farm, and the Lukodi Center which houses teen girls who have been abducted and raped now have children. The center is a place for healing, transformation, restoration, and empowerment. At the center they learn God’s forgiveness, receive basic education, and learn care for their children. The school also focuses on how to survive after graduation by teaching income generating projects like baking, sewing, hair salon and more.
At the SoulFest this year, you'll learn more about a new partnership with ChildVoice International to adopt a village in Northern Uganda. Whether you come to SOULFEST OR NOT you can get involved by going to
thesoulfest.com click on 'Get Involved' then 'Mission Village'. Once there, you will get an overview of the project to lift this whole community through the Love of Christ with the Gospel in ACTION. You can become a mission village sponsor.

SoulFest adopting this village is amazing!
I think what ChildVoice is doing is incredible. Seeking a higher level of justice instead of charity is what we are called to as believers in Christ. Seeking restoration and healing, rather then just a band aid approach.
This is awesome!
