Produced by Brian Eno, Danny Lanois and Steve Lillywhite, sessions for No Line On The Horizon began in Fez, Morocco, and continued at the band’s Dublin studio, New York’s Platinum Sound Recording Studios, and London's Olympic Studios. Streaming is only available until March 3rd, but of course, it will be available in stores that same day! I'm listening to it as I right this and I'm counting down the days to March 3rd... it's sounds great!

Beautiful Love

This Texas-based band was propelled into the national spotlight with their INO/Sony Music Label Group debut I Wish We All Could Win. The project spawned the swirling, melodic hit "Beautiful Love," earning the band an enthusiastic following when the song was selected as the theme track for MTV's "8th and Ocean". Atlanta based rock band, Third Day continues its successful run at radio with a No. 1 on the R & R Christian AC Monitored chart. The single has been No. 1 on the Christian Radio Weekly (CRW) AC radio-impressions chart for the past four weeks.

This is the second single from the band’s Revelation (7/29/08) project to claim a top spot at radio; the first of which was “Call My Name” which scored a No. 1 on R&R’s Christian AC Indicator chart on June 2. It was also No. 1 on R&R’s Christian AC Monitored chart on June 9. The song remained No.1 on both charts for 11 weeks. In addition, “Call My Name” was a No. 1 on the R&R CHR Chart on June 9, where it held strong for 6 weeks.

Third Day kicks off its 34-city Revelation Tour on March 5th in Champaign, Ill. with special guests, GMA’s ‘New Artist of the Year’ and Double GRAMMY Nominee, Brandon Heath and high-energy, Australian pop/rock band, Revive.

We are just over a month away from Third Day coming into Worcester, MA and volunteers are still needed for March 14th.  

The needs are for:

•  5 additional volunteers for various duties before, during and after the concert.
  
• 1 runner with a 12 passanger van (available all day)

Last week I mentioned a colaboration between Third Day and Lacey of Flyleaf.  If you haven't heard the track, "Run to You" featured on the "Revelation", then you need to head over to: http://www.myspace.com/thirdday and play the full track there.  It's great to hear Mac's deep and distinct vocals matched up with Lacey's haunting melodies.  The bonus for those who grab the new album is that "Run to You" is the second track on which they colaborated.  The other is titled, "Born Again".
